Wilmer D. Kessler

Wilmer D. Kessler, (affectionately Willie) age 59, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at Sanford Health, Bismarck.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Thursday, November 1, at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E. Divide Ave., Bismarck. Private family services will be held. He was born August 14, 1959, in Harvey, ND, to Arthur and Gertrude Kessler.  He was a 1977 graduate of Turtle Lake High School.  For a time he worked as a bee keeper in California and returned to Bismarck to work for several different companies, most recently with Northwest Contracting.  Wilmer lived a simple life and he enjoyed cooking and was as avid race car fan.  He was a very kind person and would help anyone without any hesitation.  He is survived by his brother, Daryl, Oakes, ND; his sisters, Pamela, Tacoma, WA, and Barbara (Ron) Sager, Plymouth, MN; his nieces and nephews, Brenda Urlacher (Moos), Mandan, ND, Clinton Kessler, Chad Kessler, Trina Edwards, Lauren Bittara, and Haley Sagen; along with many cousins.  He is preceded in death by his mother; his sister Elaine Moos; and infant sister, Beverly.
