Jodine K. Wolbaum 75, Bismarck, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021. A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 2 at Bethel Lutheran Church, 615 E Turnpike Ave., Bismarck.
A prayer service will be held 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 1 at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck.
Burial will be held Monday, Aug. 2 at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan.
Jodine Kaye Wolbaum was born November 28, 1945, at a Bismarck hospital to Walter and Grace Reuther. She was baptized on January 23, 1946, at Evangelical Lutheran Church, Rosebud.
Jodine grew up on the family farm northeast of New Salem. She attended grades one through eight at Mars School No. 4 about two miles south of the farm. She graduated from New Salem High School in 1963 where she was a member of the pep club, Playmakers, girls' and mix chorus and librarian. She also sang in her church choir and was a Sunday School teacher.
She met her husband, Paul Wolbaum, on July 19, 1969. They were married on December 31, 1969. Over the years, Jodine had numerous jobs, including secretarial and bookkeeping, but her main job was raising three beautiful daughters. Jodine loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed working on numerous crafts, including quilting and diamond painting. Paul and Jodine lived in Kent, Washington, for 27 years before retiring back in North Dakota.
Jodine is survived by her husband, Paul Wolbaum; three daughters, Heather, Carrie and Dawn; nine grandchildren, Blair, Jessica, Alex, Alyssa, Morgan, BreeAnna, Patrick, BayLee and Brandon; three great-grandchildren, Logan, Corbin and Kaison; and five sisters Sheryl, Judy, Nancy, Patti and Michelle.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Walter and Grace; two brothers, Walter and Rodney; sister, Darlene; and her grandparents.
