Kenneth Lee Wolbaum, 69, Bismarck, passed away peacefully in his home March 9, 2022. Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 14 at Church of the Ascension, 1825 S Third St, Bismarck.
Visitation will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. Sunday at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck. A vigil service will begin at 2 p.m.
Ken was born August 16, 1952 in Dickinson to Jack and Dorothy Wolbaum. He graduated from Dickinson Trinity High School in 1970. He married Leona Feist on June 8, 1979, and they settled in Bismarck. He went on to work for the airline industry for 25 years and retired from the hospitality industry in 2013.
He was active in the Catholic church for many years and took pride in his family, his faith and his work. He enjoyed reading and spending time with his grandchildren; they were his pride and joy, and they loved spending time with each other.
Ken is survived by his wife, Leona; his children, Jared (Chasney) Wolbaum and Amanda (Troy Renwick) Peterson; his sister, Jackie Oster and brother, Robert (Kim) Wolbaum; and his grandchildren, Lucas, Hailey and Madelyn Peterson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Jack Wolbaum.
