Martin “Marty” B. Chase, 70, passed away on April 15, 2021. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 21 at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E Divide Ave, Bismarck. Visitation will be held one-hour prior.

Marty was born on Oct. 9, 1950 to John and Vera Chase in Charleston, West Virginia. In 1965 Marty moved to North Dakota with his family. Marty attended Standing Rock Community High School. Marty enjoyed working at various jobs but was most proud of his 23 years at the Elbow Room where he made great friends.

Marty enjoyed football, especially cheering on the Green Bay Packers.

He is survived by his two sisters, Angela Carpenter, Jamestown, and Valerie Woodward, Livingston, Mont.; two nieces and one nephew.

Marty was preceded in death by his parents, John E. and Vera B. Chase.
