Michael Benedict

Michael Keith Benedict, born May 5, 1954, passed away in his home on Sept. 5, 2021, at age 67. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 10 at Eastgate Funeral Service, Bismarck.

Michael was a quiet, shy, gentle and compassionate man who loved his family. He had an unwavering passion for music and collected every record he could find. His other interests were cars, planes and trains. He never missed a day of work and will always be remembered for his dedication to life. 

Michael is survived by his wife, June May Rahn-Benedict; sons, Lance Jay (Debra) Benedict, and Justin Rae Benedict; grandchildren, Colin, Lucas, Lexie, Kingstin and Prinstin; mother, Glenna; brother, Ken; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nephews and nieces and brothers-and sisters-in-law.  

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerome Joseph Benedict; brother, Ronnie; and his grandparents.
